We're Currently Hiring a Dog-Walker
Responsibilities
- Driving to each clients house and taking their dog for a walk
- Basic training of dogs
- picking up after dogs during walks
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- MUST be able to commit to this role for at least 6 months
- Must have a valid police check or be willing to obtain one
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle (bikes and buses will not be acceptable)
- must have at least 1 year of experience working, volunteering or owning dogs
- Must be located in Cambridge, ON
Skills
- Reliability is a big must for this job
- Exceptional time-management skills
- Interpersonal skills in order to communicate with clients
- Great communication skills
- Passion for animals and knowledge of canine behaviour
- Must be able to walk strong dogs who pull
The successful candidate will begin with ~15 hours of work per week with a high potential of more hours.
Weekend work is not required but would include Occasional dog-sitting and potentially a few dog walks.
